If your manuscript is finished and you mainly need professional design, production and distribution, choose AuthorPad. If you want editing plus positioning and launch support, choose AuthorPad Plus. If you also want an audiobook and the widest reach, choose AuthorPad Signature.
What is the difference between self-publishing and hybrid publishing?
AuthorPad is our self-publishing package: we produce and publish your finished book in your name, with editing available as an add-on. AuthorPad Plus and AuthorPad Signature are our hybrid publishing packages: we also edit your manuscript, position your book and support your launch. In every package, you keep 100% of your rights and royalties.
How long does it take to publish my book?
Most books are published within 3 to 9 months, depending on the package, the length of your book and how quickly you review each stage.
Do I need a finished manuscript?
For AuthorPad, your manuscript should be finished. Editing is not included, but you can add it. AuthorPad Plus and AuthorPad Signature include editing and proofreading.
Can I get an audiobook?
Yes. Audiobook production is included in AuthorPad Signature. If you only need an audiobook, see our Audiobook Production service.
